“Easy to Learn, Difficult to Master” by David Kushner and Koren Shadmi. A dual biography covering a few years' rivalry between Nolan Bushnell and Ralph Baer during the 1970s, including fantasy gaming encounters between the two. There are a few charming moments, but the one-color artwork is underwhelming. Al Alcorn is drawn as the wrong character on page 51.
Possibly #3 in a series of graphic history reviews. #videogames #atari #history #histodons #comic #comics #artwork #graphicnovel #book
A complex reference sheet for my non-furry best friend. I designed her a chinchilla character! 🐭

"The Facial Expressions of Tethys" by artist Julius von Bismarck is ... relaxing 🌊
📽️ A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves

I'm unsure whether to tag this as art or gardening related or photography, but it's all of them of course

A badger’s sense of smell is a particularly important to them as it plays a vital role in communication. Badgers produce a variety of odours, used for distributing information like warning signals and mating status.

Satan's bolete is a poisonous mushroom that is quite rare in the UK, but more common in southern Europe, it is found under oak and beech trees, generally on chalky soil.
