Hi, I'm Soumen, an open-source programmer moving into neuromorphic computing. I'm building Spiyk: free, low-cost tools to learn brain-inspired computing without expensive hardware. v1 is a browser-based neuron simulator that runs on older laptops and phones. Next: spiking networks, fixed-point mode, FPGA. https://spiyk.github.io/ #Introduction #Neuromorphic #SpikingNeuralNetworks #EdgeAI #OpenSource

Hello again. I'm an author who writes authentic queer characters across sci-fi, fantasy, and even crime/mystery occasionally. ... and I first joined the fediverse EIGHT years ago TODAY! I don't have a string of awards. I talk a LOT about resisting AI, taking power from the broken systems that oppress us, and sandwiches. I'd love to meet more amazing people. Please do follow if you want hot takes from a lukewarm creative in a cold coastal town. #Introduction #ReIntroduction #FediFriends

I'm Dennis, a Dutch developer building two board game apps on my own. It started a year ago, when my wife and our neighbour wanted proof of who wins more. So I built Board Games Tracker. https://boardgamestracker.com The second, RuleVault, turns official rulebooks into setup checklists and turn guides. Not out yet, but the waitlist is open. https://rule-vault.com Here I'll post what I'm building and the design questions I can't settle alone. #Introduction #BoardGames #IndieDev

Ru · building Untrod @rmusngi@mastodon.social

Hi, I'm Ru. I live in Kraków and I walk a lot. I wondered how much of my own city I'd actually seen, so I mapped every street I've walked in 4 years here. The answer: 2%. That bugged me enough to build Untrod, an iPhone app that colours in every street you walk and shows you the ones you haven't. It's a one-person project and the beta just opened. If you like a wander, I'd love your feedback: https://untrod.app #Introduction #Walking #Urbanism #Maps #IndieDev

Hi, I'm Tineke 👋 Over the past year, linocut printing has sparked my creativity: a creative outlet away from screens. It all started with a medieval rabbit wielding an axe 🐇🪓 About the name Studio Vro: vro is an old Dutch word for cheerful/happy (vrolijk). Here I'll share my prints, my process and my search for a style of my own. #introduction #linocut #linoprint #printmaking #beginnerartist

We are The Shifting Apparatus, beings call us "Appie". We are plural, and have rules that beings must read before engaging. They can be found here but some beings rarely visit when they're told to, so here's a summary:

  1. Ask for consent before initating any roleplay. Use offer hug not hugs

  2. Our 3rd POV pronouns are: Appie/Appie's and 2nd POV pronouns are specifically "yall" without the astrophe. This is very important. We abhore "y'all"

This is our #introduction post We are The Shifting Apparatus, a queer and disabled apparatus (our term for plural system or group). We have recently migrated from #blahajZone because their mods (patricularly Jorunn and Ada) on matrix are negligent and have hurt us by not paying attention to how users have been treating our requests for our needs (content warnings and proper pronouns, and what language we should be addressed as). We knew Jorunn personally, and had some connection to Ada 1/?

Hey, I'm David, known as NakedPastor. I'm a lot of things. Pastor turned artist. Cartoonist. Writer. And a few things I'm still figuring out. Some say I should pick one. I disagree. In case you’re wondering, I’m not actually naked. The idea behind my name, NakedPastor, is to seek to tell the naked truth - no matter how vulnerable it feels. Here are some of my cartoons. #introduction
