The CPS wants to sentence five more Palestine activists as terrorists for committing criminal damage, it can be revealed. Brendon O’Hagan, Amanda Kelly, Hmeera Atiqnisar, Mohammed Malik, and Alma Yaniv were convicted of criminal damage last month for a protest at a Barclays bank branch in Burnley in 2024. It was carried out in the name of Palestine Action almost a year before the group was banned under terrorism laws. https://www.declassifieduk.org/five-more-palestine-activists-could-be-sentenced-as-terrorists/ 🕎 🇵🇸 ☮️ #Gaza #Palestine #Press #News

Hundreds of thousands of people joined coordinated pro-Palestine marches worldwide on Saturday to condemn Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza and stand with Palestinians living under Israeli apartheid in the occupied West Bank. The Global Alliance for Palestine said the mobilisation involved at least 325 events worldwide, including 176 in Europe alone. Organisers estimated that around 250,000 people joined the London march. Demonstrators carried signs demanding the “end” of Israel’s genocide and declaring “Free Palestine” as they marched towards the British parliament. https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/global-protests-demand-end-israels-genocide-and-apartheid #solidarity #stopgenocide #zionismIsRacism #gaza #palestine #Europe #UK #London #protest @palestine@fedibird.com @palestine@a.gup.pe Marchers observed a two-minute silence for the more than 74,370 Palestinians Israel has killed in Gaza since October 2023. Its attacks have wounded at least 175,371 others.

"Israeli leaders still overtly affirm their genocidal intentions to “finish the job so that we can also implement the migration plan,” as defense minister Israel Katz said on 16 September. If the violence and deprivation that preceded 7 October created the conditions for resistance, there is little reason to assume that subjecting another generation to even greater destruction will produce a different result. The significance of 7 October, therefore, is not that it illustrates what the next escalation might look like, but rather the futility of assuming that Palestinian resistance can be contained, defeated or permanently deterred through military force. Repeated violence does not erase grievances. It can deepen them. What may come next might not look exactly like 7 October, but undoubtedly Israel is creating new generations with powerful reasons and motivations to resist. Throughout the genocide, some Palestinians have expressed the desire for revenge. In December 2023, after losing his mother and sisters, a boy pulled from the rubble, his face covered in blood and dust, told a journalist that one day they would film him as he was “stepping on the necks” of Israeli soldiers." https://electronicintifada.net/content/why-palestinians-will-continue-resist/51682 #analysis #politics #PalestinianResistance #resistance #IsraelWarCrimes #IsraelTerroristState #israel #Palestine #Gaza #7thOctober #october7th #violence #gazagenocide #FreePalestine @palestine@a.gup.pe @palestine@fedibird.com

Last night in Gaza was pure terror. Constant bombing, drones and warplanes flying overhead all night. My children couldn't sleep from fear. Life here is unbearable. We can no longer afford food or basic necessities. The economic situation is crushing us. Please don't forget us. Your voice matters. Help us and share our story. Can you please read my words until the end? 🤍 I am Nada from Gaza, and many of you know my story. First, I want to thank every person who has stood by my side, and everyone who has offered me support or a kind word during my hardest days. Today, I am trying to start over, despite everything we have lost. I am both a mother and a father to my children after their father suffered a serious injury that caused him to lose his sight in one eye and damaged the other, leaving him unable to work and carry his responsibilities as he once did. Two weeks ago, I started a training program after signing a contract to return to university teaching at the beginning of November. This program is unpaid, yet it comes with many expenses that have become beyond my ability to afford. While trying to rebuild my life, I faced a severe health crisis. I had to undergo a curettage procedure, and unfortunately, I experienced bleeding during it, which caused a significant decline in my health. I was not even able to fully cover the cost of the procedure or the transportation. I am trying with all my strength to regain my life, not only for myself, but for my children, my parents, and my family who need me. But right now, I feel extremely weak, and my body needs time, care, and treatment so I can continue. The doctor advised me to have proper nutrition, supplements, and medical care, but all of this has become beyond my ability in the circumstances we are living through. I truly need your support. Any help, no matter how small, could help me get through this difficult stage and stand on my feet again for my children and my family. Thank you to everyone who reads my words and to everyone who extends a helping hand to me on this difficult journey. 🤍 💔💔💔💔 #Gaza #Palestine #PalestinianFood #Recipe #MutualAid #SupportPalestine https://gofund.me/83e09b493

Hey folks, @Aseelsehwel@mas.to has received an offer from University College Birmingham and is trying to find someone from the admissions team or an academic member of staff who could advise her on her situation, particularly regarding the UK government’s requirements for evacuating students from Gaza and whether the university could offer any flexibility with the financial deadlines she’s been given. Any of you know anyone there who can help? #UK #UniversityCollegeBirmingham #Birmingham #Gaza #Palestine #university
