This is our #introduction post We are The Shifting Apparatus, a queer and disabled apparatus (our term for plural system or group). We have recently migrated from #blahajZone because their mods (patricularly Jorunn and Ada) on matrix are negligent and have hurt us by not paying attention to how users have been treating our requests for our needs (content warnings and proper pronouns, and what language we should be addressed as). We knew Jorunn personally, and had some connection to Ada 1/?

We are The Shifting Apparatus, beings call us "Appie". We are plural, and have rules that beings must read before engaging. They can be found here but some beings rarely visit when they're told to, so here's a summary:

1. Ask for consent before initating any roleplay. Use offer hug not hugs

2. Our 3rd POV pronouns are: Appie/Appie's and 2nd POV pronouns are specifically "yall" without the astrophe. This is very important. We abhore "y'all"
