A cosy vibe from #Funchal for #Doorsday.
This #door is part of the #ArteDePortasAbertas (#ArtOfOpenDoors) project in Funchal which invited local artists to paint weathered and abandoned doorways. ☺️

At the age of 90 year old, Czech former agricultural worker Agnes Kasparkova continued her 13 year project to decorate her small village with hand-painting traditional Moravian motifs on the local houses.
"She painted the designs entirely by hand without using stencils. Over several decades, her artwork transformed parts of the village into a living example of preserved folk tradition and craftsmanship"

Living in Glasgow can sometimes have its challenges, especially at this time of year when the weather can be rather wet and the nights are drawing in, but then you come across something like this on Park Drive in the Woodlands area of the city and you're reminded why you'd never want to live anywhere else!
