This is my favorite photo. I took it 14 years ago, at a Carnaval celebration in the Mission and published it here once, in black and white. Posted and done. End of story. Well not quite. A couple of weeks ago I went back to my Lightroom catalog, took another look, and decided the photo looked much better in color. So here it is. A moment frozen in time. I'm going to pin this for a while to remind myself to go out and take more street photos... because that is something that makes me really happy. #photography #StreetPhotography

#Introduction 📸 I’m Thalia, a NYC-born photographer. I made my work completely independent to build a direct home for street photography, cinematic portraits, & the human stories hiding in plain sight. After losing my fast-growing audience elsewhere to a platform lockout, I'm rebuilding. This time, on my terms. ♡ Read my essays & support independent publishing: https://hellothalia.ghost.io#StreetPhotography #PortraitPhotography #Photography #MastoArt #NewHere
