@lauren@mastodon.laurenweinstein.org The law that privatized the former Crown Corporation Air Canada mandates that Air Canada must provide all services in both official languages, English and French. While a message of condolences is not a "service" per se, one of the pilots was in fact a French Canadian, so not honouring that is a problem.
Honestly, I'm a bit surprised that a uni-lingual anglophone got the job in the first place.
