see what I'm listening to in real time!:
How can brains be so stupid? Like when it is pretty sure your friends hate you cause you haven't talked in a while. Yet when you see them again it's all cool. Like there was no reason to feel like that why must you do this to yourself every time, dumb brain, when will you learn?

It's funny how all the big accounts with thousands of followers are all award winning somethings. I've won awards too, probably. Updating bio.

Lasted over 2 months! Not sure if Plan B uses better quality materials or my grip job held better or what but damn. Not bad. This is now a #PlanB recommendation account 🫡
I like #bicycles. I think they're cool. I like their efficiency and simplicity. I like looking at pictures of bikes and how people adapt and customize their bikes to suit their needs.
It sucks then that blogs about bikes are now 99% about e-bikes. When you don't even need to pedal the thing and it goes twice as fast as the fastest human on a bike can, it kinda changes the concept.
I like motorcycles too but they're a different thing built with a different purpose in mind.

@paul@oldfriends.live @jellyfin@mastodon.online and just that is enough to make me realize it might not be entirely my fault and other people are dealing with similar issues in this version. So you've been very helpful believe it or not!

@paul@oldfriends.live @jellyfin@mastodon.online I think I got to it first at version 6 or 7 and yeah never had any issues until now 🙃 it's got me asking fedi for jellyfin alternatives lol
Replying to
@paul@oldfriends.live @jellyfin@mastodon.online yup, not sure when metadata started going sideways but couldn't be more than a month.
Jelly running on Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye), no docker, hdd filesystem is ext4
Replying to
@paul@oldfriends.live @jellyfin@mastodon.online ohhh yeah, I've had all that too for things it does find now that you mention it. Slowness, finding shows but no episodes, episodes with no metadata, shows with no cast info, etc. I think I'm gonna try to jump a version up or down and see if that fixes anything
my @jellyfin@mastodon.online instance has been fucked beyond repair for weeks now and I've run out of ideas.
I've scanned my media folders, rescanned, replaced metadata, rescanned again, updated versions (running 10.11.11), uninstalled jellyfin from the server, wiped cache and config files, reinstalled, checked disk health (drives are good), and still no dice.
Jellyfin only finds like half of the things in there. And not always the same things, so I'm pretty sure it's not file naming it's getting tripped up on.
Any ideas, suggestions or #Jellyfin alternatives appreciated.

@aleciabatson @frigginglorious my issue is not with the data per se, cause the report does not claim to include EVERY state in North America. My issue is with @infobeautiful's post where they took the liberty to exclude one specific country.
Ultimately what I'm mad about is the consistent US and english speaking-centric view of NA. Idaf if it's cause they're racist, supremacist or just fucking ignorant. I'm gonna call you out on your exclusionary bullshit every time cause it's not new and it's TIRING
