Hey peeps, soooo after a veryyy long time, I've finally written my second piece. This one's a little more vulnerable than I typically get online but I'm glad it's finally done! I hope you enjoy, and do consider subscribing to our publication if this is your jam. We are free after all :) https://blog.aminasi.net/an-ode-to-mill-street-skate-park-and-saying-goodbye/ #BlackMastodon #BlackTrans #BlackQueer #Skateboarding #Blog #SouthAfrica #Zimbabwe

An Ode to Mill Street Skate Park and Saying Goodbye

Never thought I would care so much about a place scattered with grime and dirt, yet the art around and sound of skateboards grips me.

RE: https://mastodon.gamedev.place/@imp3tuz/116930239511103676 Here's my review: I wasn't in Zim around the time this was filmed, I think it was like 2024 cause the Vic Falls park was still in the planning phase. I was blown away to just see how active the scene really is here. Sooo much love and passion! Really devastated that the basement spot is gone, but we'll have it back one day. 9.5/10 - History has been marked, and there will be more! Needs more femme and queer energy 🤭 #FilmReview #Skateboarding #BlackMastodon #BlackFedi #Zimbabwe #Africa
