Ellie looking cute, even in a cone!
(She's fine; she had surgery last week and is recovering well.)
Barcode scanning at Christchurch parkrun this morning. My 25th time volunteering!
Holding on.
Ripping CDs that are (probably) older than most of the people I work with.
Reading with the sleepy kitty.
Monday. Sadly, no flying pig.
In case you were thinking about it, just don't.
Today's earworm: "It's going to be a fine night tonight / It's going to be a fine day tomorrow".
I never knew the Opus III version was a cover!

@jwz@mastodon.social The lack of a second season of The Peripheral is one of Amazon's biggest crimes.
Blue skies overhead ☀️
Listening to Dead Can Dance, "Our Day Will Come"
Surprise new song!
The "kids are using fake moustaches to bypass age gating" news story is just crying out for someone to invert the "hello, fellow kids" meme.
Alas I don't have the skills (and I'm not the sort of sicko who'd use 'AI' to do it)!
Listening to System 7, "Flower of Life"
So, this is a thing (hat tip to https://mastodon.gamedev.place/@rygorous/116395019715158849)
Did you know that the moon is made of spiders?

@WiteWulf@cyberplace.social I love the "Not the Weapon..." album, but I've not always got into his solo stuff. Quite enjoyed that on first impressions though!
@neil@mastodon.neilzone.co.uk Impressive!
Listening to Various, "HELP(2)"
I remember buying the first one, which felt like something special, back in a different age of the Earth. Not many artists in common!

@davidallan@mastodonapp.uk That was my Dad's commute, when I was a kid. It was an early start and I think he often hit those conditions!
Listening to Mitski, "Nothing's About to Happen to Me"
Not really my cup of tea so far, but giving it a try 🤷
@Wolf@social.incognoble.com @kitkat_blue@mastodon.social If you're enjoying Dune, I'd approach the prequels with caution. They're very different sorts of books.
This morning, my brain is hosting an epic earworm battle between Massive Attack's "Safe From Harm" and Steven Wilson's "Hand Cannot Erase". An odd combination but it almost works!
We got our spring covid boosters, hopefully we will be suitably upgraded.
Listening to Squarepusher, "Kammerkonzert"
No idea what to expect from this one, I've not really listened to any Squarepusher since a previous age of the earth.

@WiteWulf@cyberplace.social That's where I wandered off, too, I think.
I kinda enjoyed this one, though it's (of course) a long album, and I wasn't really paying enough attention.
Listening to Richard Barbieri, "Hauntings"
New solo album from the Porcupine Tree (and Japan) keyboard player / sound magician.
Anyone else spending a lazy Sunday reading about a coffin they're looking forward to seeing tomorrow? No, just me then?

The Daily Hieroglyphs bot getting a bit carried away, this morning.
Listening to Seefeel, "Sol. Hz"
It's turned into a bit of an ambient day.
Listening to Tori Amos, "In Times of Dragons"
It's such a long time since I listened to anything by her (Scarlet's Walk, I think), I thought I'd give this new one a try.
Went into a record shop and bought some albums, like it's the 2000s.
(Can't remember when I last did, but it's certainly been a while!)
Listening to Mammal Hands, "Circadia"
RE: https://social.neonpaws.digital/@FoxesInLove/116318483741776636
It me! (Not for the first time.)
