So Israel and the US have started an illegal war against Iran. How many countries have the US and Israel bombed recently? Yet Donald Trump cried because he wasn't being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and Israel bombs their neighbours yet plays the victim card.
Meanwhile much of the Western press and our politicians buy this utter nonsense from Trump and Netanyahu and accept whatever they tell us. We live in a mad World.

The US and Israel conduct illegal and unprovoked strikes against Iran. UK Prime Minister then tells Americans sure you can continue your illegal war using UK bases. Keir Starmer is not doing this in my name.

The Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contract for the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (built for ~£180 million in 2003) is expected to cost NHS Lothian roughly £1.1 billion to £1.26 billion in total repayments by the time the main contract expires in 2027. Even that is not the full cost, as a buy-back clause comes into effect, where another fee has to be agreed to transfer the hospital into public hands.
The people are being robbed blind. Labour has been a disaster for Scotland.

Before Keir Starmer drags the UK further into war in Iran, it may be a chance to remember a man of principle, Robin Cook, who resigned from Tony Blair's government in protest against the UK's imminent military action in Iraq without international agreement or domestic consensus. I wonder how many in Starmer's Labour government today have similar principles?

I see that Israel has joined Donald Trump's Board of Peace. In other news Jeffrey Epstein has joined Save the Children, Adolf Hitler is the new figurehead of UN Human Rights, and Donald Trump has joined Greenpeace.
There were 5 council by-elections on Thursday in England - The results were 2 Libdem holds, 1 Libdem gain from Green, 1 Reform gain from independent, and 1 Green gain from the Libdems.
Although maybe not the most representative selection, I show this as I wonder if Reform is not catching the public imagination as the press would have us believe.
