@afewbugs I want to read what the people I follow wrote not some LLM's idea of it, also summarising posts from a microblogging site is surely the peak of attention span failure, if you can't even read the relatively short posts from people you chose to follow :blobcatumm:

@ckd @yetiinabox they're both! a fruit is the seed bearing part of a plant, and a vegetable is something we use in the kitchen and can include many parts of plants or even funghi!

@syhr@social.coop I'm not terribly hopeful that a petition would do much on this topic, considering the failure of the courts to do anything so far https://www.thepinknews.com/2025/08/05/non-binary-uk-lawsuit-echr/

Non-binary American in UK takes gender lawsuit to Europe's top court

A non-binary person is taking a lawsuit against the UK over its refusal to recognise non-binary people to Europe's top human rights court.

Replying to

@iamada afaik decriminalisation rather than legalisation is the generally preferred direction of most sex workers, not regulation and restriction on what people are allowed to do, just being able to work safely and above board rather than risking arrest and abuse

Replying to

@Euan@speedlines.stctp.zone @f4rr3r@sunny.garden all excellent points, the one thing I was thinking that is different with this set vs a football kit and ball or a pop star set with mic etc is most of this kit's stuff you don't actually see the influencers using as it's the filming equipment so it is a bit weirdly abstract for the target age?
