@Sempf I have a Facebook account just because some businesses and non-profits tend to only post announcements there. It's still asking for my money or my (personal) life, despite being convicted on the European court that this is not valid according to GDPR. If I wait it out, it unlocks itself after a few months, but at this point I spend more time being locked out than actually being able to use Facebook. I'm not sure if you live in the EU, but basically you can't get information about your local government unless you surrender either your money or your life to Mark Zuckerberg.
