mastodon 4.7.2Hi! I’m the same thatandromeda you may know from elsewhere online. Studied #math, taught #Latin to middle school boys, trained as a #librarian, ended up writing #software for a variety of libraries and adjacent organizations. Things I’ve obsessed over include nonprofit governance, #weightlifting, #knitting, #singing, my cats, and #planes (working slowly on my pilot’s license). Married, mom to a teenager, extremely online for a long time. #introduction

@JakeOrlowitz@mastodon.social in college I took a Greek course wherein we translated the Book of Acts, and what I remember from that was that Jesus was the vision guy and Paul was the execution guy who kept running around the Mediterranean being all oh my GOD you GUYS what did I TELL you, per my last EMAIL, and fundamentally you don't have a church without them both
this is one of the single most important things I learned in college

@ink@merveilles.town @misty@digipres.club Right now our awesome conference planners are frantically trying to figure out the options vis-a-vis both remote and hotels that might be able to host, but it's too early to know where it all lands. Also the LPC of course seems to be in shock. Hubs/watch parties are a pretty sweet idea though if we end up online.
