Just received my new KDE slimbook @slimbook@linuxrocks.online ! Latest KDE experience right out of the box in a super slick design laptop 🤩
Now time to configure plasma desktop 🪄 #kde #slimbook #plasma6

@Mastodon@mastodon.social @_elena@mastodon.social Excellent ! Awesome target !! Looking forward to seeing the Louvre on the fediverse. Please let us know how you plan to manage this.
#nextcloud succesfully upgraded to Winter26 🎉

@ploum@mamot.fr 💯 I foresee a future where developers (any language) are scarce resources everybody will want to hire to maintain their shitty vibe-coded apps.
My webextension is now available as a firefox addon here: https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/fed-down/
Please give it a try and provide #feedback to help improve the #fediverse experience.

#TIL to write my first firefox webextension 🎉

hint: you don't need AI when you have the amazing MDN documentation available 💪

@elena@aseachange.com you can also find "bash cookbook: 2nd edition" from O'Reilly's edition as a pdf to download from the internet

@HolosSocial@mastodon.social I am so disappointed #nextcloud didn't push more efforts into their fediverse social app. It is already the place where we store things we might want to share 😢
But your idea with Holos really makes sense too. Looking forward to seeing it live 💪

@elena@aseachange.com lucky you! I just updated a single nextcloud app this morning (draw.io) and it totally broke it. I manually deleted the app folder to fix stuffs and waiting for a new version of the app 🙄

@elena@aseachange.com cryptpad seemed overkill for my personal needs too. Nextcloud with collabora office is enough.
I miserably failed at installing appflowy, so looking forward to hearing your feedback on it.

@slimbook@linuxrocks.online @antaeus@fosstodon.org lol ! No I'm definitely done with windows. No dual boot anymore 🥳

@steve@social.technoetic.com correct I'm a bit too much anticipating 😅
let's build step by step !

@ben@werd.social I love the optimism you have on integrating AI cleverly in the organization.
My concern is only very few companies think like you do and I'm wondering if we will end up in a COBOL like situation: In 50years, nobody will be able to maintain code because they never really learned how to write it in the first place 🤔
Anyway, great writing!

@ftrc@mastodon.social you just got one more follower on your pixelfed profile 😉

@dansup@mastodon.social I don't want you prioritize this over pixelfed improvements (😇) but I agree it would be great to have such a standalone app !
Anyway your time is yours so keep coding what you like 😉

@ewenbell@makertube.net thanks for this video. I'm currently evaluating Lightroom alternatives for my new laptop as I am stuck on my old Lightroom 6 version (before they moved to subscription model).
I've had a look at the CaptureOne demo. DxO is the next on my list.

"Romanticize the dive" the last #metric album is a very good one. Highly recommended

Individuals and interactions over processes and toolsThis is your periodic reminder that defining arbitrary rules (aka processes) or automating brittle practices is not a solution. Enhancing communication is always the key.

@hazelnoot@enby.life do you use meilisearch for indexation ? I'm more concerned about the index size than the SQL db size

@ploum@mamot.fr AI is the new cobol. Nobody knows how it works but it is defining how our institutions (bank, insurance) are working.

@pixelfed@mastodon.social since I migrated to your latest docker-compose file (with splitter scheduler and horizon) :
- images are not uploaded to S3 anymore
- I need to run php artisan passport:keys after a restart of the app
