And that was it for FediForum Fall 2026! Thanks to all the people who demoed, our keynote speaker, all the people who ran lots of sessions, took notes and made so many insightful contributions! We will publish recordings of the keynote and the demos, and the session notes over the next week or so. See you at the next FediForum in spring, 16–18 March 2027!

@david_chisnall@infosec.exchange @tante@tldr.nettime.org What's the difference between an LLM and a pack of cigarettes? They both fill the room with smoke that will eventually kill someone. But cigarettes come with a warning.

These stickers I made went to #FOSDEM with the generous help of @andypiper@macaw.social

Here's the link to download the file if you'd like to make your own stickers, put it on your site, etc.

Many thanks for the boosts 🙂 I want to give special thanks to Radio Free Fedi and the human who goes by "the hamster" who's been the primary force behind it. He's been an incredible source of wisdom and support. While RFF streaming is sunsetting, they've got exciting things happening going forward. So please do keep your eye on them. The Indie Beat Radio will be collaborating with them at every opportunity.

@liaizon @benpate Thank you! I'll echo what Ben said and agree that nothing will ever quite replace RFF. But thanks to everything we've learned from RFF, we'll stay artist-first and help build the future of music in the Fedi ❤️ Plus, the RFF crew is gonna be doing some new things in a new way soon. So we'll be supporting and collaborating at every opportunity!

Oh oh oh! I also want to think the delightful @limebar for making a Roku app for The Indie Beat Radio 🤩 We're still waiting for Roku to deign to fix their shiz for developers. But we'll let you know when it's available. How cool is that of limebar, though?! Only happens in the Fediverse, man.

@fritzvd @benpate Exactly -- hopefully by intentionally building a network of people and places, we can make something resilient without a single point of failure :)
