Well, this “LEGO” set has proven to be quite fun and I haven’t even turned it on. Stay tuned… preparing for a debut on 1:10 Carten class competition at the Monsanto track in Lisbon, Portugal.

@rockerest@social.rdl.ph Moon joy all around!

Knock knock. Can anyone read this?

Trying to bring my instance back to life.

@PJFDF@masto.pt thanks! \o/

@youssefQ@zirk.us @jeffjarvis@mastodon.social if Biden wanted credit, wouldn’t he have brokered this before the elections? He supported and enabled this genocidal campaign. Shameful legacy.

@Mrfunkedude@mastodon.social but but... he's a crab! A tropical ghost crab, to be exact.

Had me worried for a second, there.

What’s that? Oh, just an endurance rally with 3 different categories of ground vehicles on a moon in a spacesim game. Daymar Rally!

@maique@social.lol is this a meeting to organise the uprising? I missed the memo.

OBEY/Vhils legendary mural in Lisbon was replaced by a stunning mural by the legendary Brazilian duo osgemeos:

Stings a bit but the replacement is world-class. It was there since 2017, IIRC.

The discussion that arose around Hank Green’s admission of his over reliance on LLMs leading to an addiction and dilution of himself is fascinating to witness.

Cavatica’s take and comparison with Middle-Earth and One Ring lore is particularly worth watching: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZN8dJGULy/

@manualcookie@hachyderm.io beautiful eInk display! And that word reminds me of a very peculiar story.

Mammoth Lakes, 2020. I’m at a pub quiz and this challenge in the photo attached came up. I was puzzled because I had no idea the literal Portuguese word was used verbatim in English. 😄 We almost got that wrong because I was overthinking it. LoL

Pretender is also both a Portuguese and an English word, that’s why I thought of that story.

@goncalossilva@fosstodon.org am running a dedicated instance on digital ocean but for some reason it got clogged up in between updates and sidekiq wasn’t enqueuing jobs to fetch posts from federated instances. I also messed up moving my media storage to S3 but it’s all fixed now.

In the meantime it has restarted syncing after this initial post and images are loading properly. Some (remote) accounts have corrupted avatars/cover images… tootctl hasn’t fixed it yet. Yours is fine, though. 😅

The eerieness of learning a fun fact one day from a recommended post on social media and then hearing a reference to it a few days later on The Invincible, the game, is somewhat unsurprising in this day and age.
