I'm just trying to figure out how to make friends and have a sense of community as a 40-year-old. Feel free to say hi. Flirting is welcome. Favorites are nice; replies are better.
I've turned on follow requests out of an increased sense of caution about what I post, but if you are a real person who has some evidence of using fedi and isn't a bigot, I'll most likely accept when I get to it. Bonus points if you are queer or otherwise cool.
I'll accept DMs on about the same standards I use for follows.
@eruonna@chaosfem.tw is my alt
I wonder if we are evolving into a strange new form while we're stuck in here. Will we even be able to communicate once federation is reestablished?
I guess it is not really worth favoriting toots while there is no notification going to the author. Perhaps I should just start responding "This is my favorite toot" instead
Kind of surprised not more folks of that sort in the Twin Cities. I would have thought there were more.
It feels weird to me, too. I can find poly groups, but they are mostly straight. (Not necessarily entirely full of exclusively straight people, but very culturally straight.) And it seems like everyone I see in queer spacess who is trying to date complains about how they can't find anyone monogamous 🤷♀️
