Movies Without Chris Pratt: War Machine and Jurassic World Rebirth
I've made a comprehensive list of movies without Chris Pratt in them and I am watching them, one at a time, starting with these two. One or two at a time, I guess.

@stargrace@gamepad.club @scopique@gamepad.club skip Twitch. Just do YouTube videos. You will build a following and expertise. Once you get enough people showing interest, then you can expand to live streaming. I wouldn't start off with that, there are a million WoW gameplay streamers. Unless you have a unique hook that will draw people in, and your gold making expertise can be that hook once you've gotten your name out there with YT.

@Aywren@gamepad.club there was an issue with the URL with your blog today. I fixed it manually and found the issue in the code so it won't happen again! Sorry!

@stargrace@gamepad.club @scopique@gamepad.club Instead of, or beside, your weekly WoW gold reports, do the same thing as a stream. Just that. Short commentary on what is selling, how you obtained more, etc. You're already doing the research and the writing -- turn that into a video and get comfortable with that first. This is just my recommendation.

@scopique@gamepad.club In the far, far future, the Imperium of Man will gain the power to look into the past, and there they will find the humans most responsible for the rise of the Emperor, and will resurrect you in the future to fight as a Space Marine.
Fight bravely, brother. For the Emperor. For the Empire. And for all of us.
Steam Next Fest: MMO98 and Data Center
These two games are related -- promise. Picture BTW is of the actual EverQuest server room.

@calvin@fedi.sphericalcow.space I strongly suspect their prototype is 3D printed and not, as they claim, carved from a titanium block with CNC. I say this because they have a 3D slicer view of the mechanism which could not be used to drive a CNC on that page. I do think they have a physical prototype; all the shots of the real proto show a hand very clearly trying to hold it together.

@outofprintarchive@retro.pizza whoa. I actually enjoyed the Limited Run Panzer Dragoon remake from a few years back. At that time they teased Panzer Dragoon Zwei but I never did see that happen. And now it has, and it's bad? Zwei was also my favorite game of the series, even more so than Saga. Not liking what I am hearing.

@scopique@gamepad.club @stargrace@gamepad.club Streaming is stressful and requires you to be constantly talking even if you aren't on camera. YT videos can be done at your own pace. If you're looking for a relaxing activity that can be done at any convenient time, streaming is not that activity.
Steam Next Fest: Windrose, Tides of Blazefall, Twilight Imperium, Panzer Dragoon Zwei
Short takes to finish out the last of the games I played as part of the Steam Next Fest.

Steam Next Fest: Scriptorium, Forbidden Solitaire, Don’t Panic! It is Just Turbulence
Two more games from Steam Next Fest. Neither is quite what you might expect. I would have liked to have been able to play a third, Don't Panic! It is Just Turbulence, but, well...

New Eden Prompt #1: EVE Online’s Longevity
Sure, EVE Online has been around for awhile, I guess... But there's an even older game that did what EVE does. In 1975.

@mosskoi@mastodon.mosskoi.com theme-wise, I would like to keep my current theme. I did notice there's people porting certain WP themes to Hugo. PaperMod goes way overboard on front matter; the other themes I tried (Dream, Mainroad, Ananke) were far easier to deal with.
I'm going to look at Ghost. There seems to be some Hugo integration (ghostToHugo) and the editor looks sweet. Thanks!

I have to keep going. Claims to have shipped two other successful products; both were made by other companies and not even the same one. List of promo partners takes up an entire page. An entirely imaginary delivery date for a hardware item from China unless it was already manufactured -- and even then it would be a tight squeeze. Claims to be from IOWA. The language used is either entirely AI or floridly translated from the original Chinese.

@nimgimli@gamepad.club Old School Runescape does this and I think it's hilarious, their bouncy spines going up and down like that.
The more I look at this Kickstarter, the funnier it gets. Watch for the AI-reimagined Monopoly game, just for starters...
Also, this somehow replaces rolling a bucket of d6s? Well, I guess these were the kind of d6s with the WRONG NUMBER OF PIPS on them.
Also, their percentile dice has "100" instead of "00".
SO MANY OTHER THINGS!
Just what ARE those board games in the background? WHAT IS HE SITTING ON? Do you need this for games that DON'T USE DICE?

@nimgimli@gamepad.club holy crap. I slap it down whenever it tries any of that stuff with me. Tell it to remember to treat you like a competent person that doesn’t need buttering up.
Shitty Kickstarter: The Nexus Cube (not a cube)
I honestly was just going to leave this one alone. But I can't. The world needs to see this... as a warning.

Add-ons: A custom leather wallet to put it in. Or a dice bag. Or a full TREASURE CHEST. A custom desk mat that has nothing to do with their product. Their video showed them using their product over a map of Rohan, so maybe the map is a LotR map somehow.
Trust me. I haven't even gone through half the things in this KS.

Tactichord: Glam Strategy
Mix X-COM with Mötley Crüe and this is what you get -- a hair metal band on its way to its first gig... if they can get by all the haters.
Shitty Kickstarter Follow-up: the Return of the Nexus Cube

Well, Hugo was also an option...
