RE: https://iconfactory.world/@Iconfactory/117525021917956413 I’m grateful to artists everywhere like @etherbrian@ieji.de who put their creative heart and soul into everything they make. I’m proud to feature his brilliant, snarky work in Wallaroo. If you can afford to support us please consider subscribing. Happy Halloween, folks!

Congrats to the Milwaukee Brewers for their first ever #WorldSeries championship win. What an amazing achievement. These playoffs were really fun and great to see the Brewers and Rays in the end. Woot! ⚾️

With the amount of water, some people are carrying for Apple these days you could almost cool a data center.

RE: https://mastodon.macstories.net/@viticci/117519740651922618 This does absolutely *nothing* for me, neither as a user nor a designer.

Starting a timer to see how long it takes before we get the first “When will you update your Mac apps for touch gestures?” email.

So come up to the lab. And see what’s on the slab. I see you shiver with antici…..

Very glad the Rays pulled off their fantastic win tonight. They’ve played so well all year and I didn’t want to see them get swept. That was an exciting, fun nail biter of a game. #WorldSeries

I dunno about you but I’d rather take a $12 Five Guys burger over a cheap In-N-Out served with a side of Jesus saves.

I do love Pete Souza’s Instagram. Barack’s “Sadam Cheesecake Factory” struck a nerve. I’m so here for it. #USPolitics

Time-lapse process for Day 29: Navigator This was so horrible at the very beginning I almost trashed it and went with a different idea. Stuck with it however and was happy how it turned out. Could say that about a lot of things in life I think. Two to go!!! #Inktober #Farscape #HumanArt #MastoArt #LineaSketch

Wonderful Walter Koenig / Chekov tribute by artist Maria Piquer. 🥰🤓👏🖖 #StarTrek

Admiral, may I suggest Dr McCoy is right. We must save Chekov. Is that the logical thing to do, Spock? No, but it is the human thing to do. 🥰🖖 #RIPChekov

We know and love him for the "nuclear wessels" scene in #StarTrek The Voyage Home, but for my money, this scene is Walter's opus. He plays it so straight, makes me smile every time - https://youtu.be/TVOIig2xLq8

So my blog is back thanks to Craig’s WP and PHP security updates. My old WP theme was too old to survive the update though now https://gedblog.com looks like a bauhaus, inspired Swiss influenced spreadsheet. Gotta find a new, modern WP these. Been so long I don’t even know where to look for these any more…

RE: https://iconfactory.world/@Iconfactory/117247732377188785 I’ve really been enjoying Lanterns on HBO Max. I wish i could say i manifested this out of thin air like Stewart and Jordan do but there’s a bit more that goes into it than that. No AI though, its ALL me. Support us if you can afford to, we love making this stuff for you. 🙏🤓

So ICE is now faking distress on a public street (car trouble, medical help, etc) so that they can lure people out of their homes to come to their assistance and then arrest them. Absolutely evil. EVIL. #AbolishICE #USpolitics

RE: https://mastodon.social/@simonharper/117497145722496115 I would LOVE to make one. Would it be worth the time and money needed to create it? Not in the least unless we maybe kickstarted it. @chockenberry@mastodon.social made Tot and Triode for himself cause he had a specific need. Those are the best, most focused kinds of apps. I hate being hamstrung by not enough revenue to run a business. 😓

I need recommendations for a new grocery store app for me and Min to share. I tried using Reminders because it has Siri support and seemed like it would work well, but it has a lot of little quirks that make it frustrating to use as a grocery store app. Must have: - share and sync - Attach PICTs - Flag items as priority - Easily undo a marked item - Sorting Would be nice: - Siri support - Easily manage/ del marked - Categories/Sections - Nice compact UI Thanks!

Pretty much represents what’s wrong in tech journalism. As if developers could design and develop without having the hardware in hand or would want to risk it prior to getting first hand experience with the hardware. Not saying it’s not possible, we did our best with Triode in the simulator, but this piece is trash. It takes more than a month to develop meaningful UI for AN ALL NEW FORM FACTOR. 🤬
