it seems kinda creepy that I have 100% of my father’s sex chromosome DNA. Like dude I’m your first kid and I got ALL of it?! But only 75% of my mother’s. But that’s 234M base pairs from mum, and only 213Mb from dad. So not too dissimilar. I’m like a man and a woman had a baby or something.

@NanoRaptor@bitbang.social I looked so much like my father pre-transition that more than once I have looked in the mirror, seen my mother, and thought "I look like my mother and my father had a baby." and every time I realize how absolutely stupid that thought is.
