One more set of bloods done — yet another with a bunch of inflammation markers normal. And the realisation that another chronic condition has barely showed its head this year. Ryeqo is my fucking *god* at this point. Those markers had been raised since 1995 but “not enough to be a concern”

Had some excitement (derogatory) yesterday - I was in the middle of a car chase, involving one stolen car then another that near hit us, and half a dozen police in pursuit and deploying spikes before we knew what was happening. Ended up a crash about 5km from where they all zoomed past us. Frickin do not like. On the other hand that's an incredible example of crumple zones protecting the cap of the Hilux. Have a bit stronger feels for all the Extras cars in car chases now.

I bet given the bird relation that some dinosaurs could be audio mimics. Imagine Time Machine, visiting the past a few times and coming across a leptoceratops, psittacosaur - maybe a troodon and you watch carefully. Get closer. It looks at you and goes… “RAHHHHH ! HELLO GORGEOUS! RAHHH” If I ever get an upgraded time machine that can go back that far you just KNOW how I'm going to die.

She walked into my office at 9:41 and I knew she was a Plus. Trouble from the startup chime, she had a corrupted system folder and legs up to the menu bar. I lit a cigarette. The heat was stifling and the fan had never been installed. Somewhere a hard drive clicked three times. It was murder.

This is your occasional backup reminder - if you haven’t yet, go start setting up backups of any kind. If you think you don’t need backups, delete everything you have on the device you’re using right now. If that seems like a bad idea then you need backups.

A glass paperweight, a wax-soaked cardboard fruit box, and sun at 10am on an autumn morning - I noticed smoke and took pics (this was ~14 years ago, but re-found the pic today) It caught alight right after I took the photo. easy to put out with fingers, but damn... if I hadn't been there....

Allegations that being two metres tall is good for top shelves has much truth to it. Nobody mentions that everything humanity uses the rest of the time is about half a metre below my cruising altitude. Why yes, one of my knees hurts today why do you ask

Why it's not a good idea to trust AI-generated info in pics either, as well as text. Starting with an aerial photo of a construction site asking for more and more detail. We go from a photo taken kilometres away of a construction site in a plane, and end up with a ticket to see The Cure at a non-existent concert. (1/2).

it seems kinda creepy that I have 100% of my father’s sex chromosome DNA. Like dude I’m your first kid and I got ALL of it?! But only 75% of my mother’s. But that’s 234M base pairs from mum, and only 213Mb from dad. So not too dissimilar. I’m like a man and a woman had a baby or something.
