@davidrevoy@framapiaf.org It takes a world of patience sometimes. We adopted the cutest sister-kitties ever from the pound but we didn't think to ask about their histories. They must have been through a lot because they wouldn't let either of us near them for over a month and spent most of their time behind or under furniture. They'd sneak out to eat and to watch us. But it was almost five weeks before either of us got to officially pet either of them. (After that, the love-floodgates were wide open! 💕)

@davidrevoy@framapiaf.org If you want to save the kittens take them in as soon as possible. Unfortunately they are at the age where the mother will abandon them to find another territory and get pregnant again. Only 50% of feral kittens live long enough to become adults.

@davidrevoy@framapiaf.org You are good people. My kitten allows me full range of motion, until he considers me a threat, then the claws come out. Goobie normally doesn't like her belly rubbed, but sometimes she just melts and let's me shove my face there. Knowing there are claws waiting for me. Charlie is loving his interactions. It's a wonderful thing to see. :owi: :sickmeme: :catjam:
