@quixote@mastodon.nz It's highway robbery. And it feels like it's intentional and aimed at people on budgets. All the foods that used to be super cheap meals or fillers like eggs or even saltine crackers have doubled or tripled in price over the last year.

@quixote@mastodon.nz @exador23@m.ai6yr.org I don't normally go out to eat (ever... ever!). But, my son asked when we were out last weekend to pick up some Thai food. It was $65 for two people for just lunch (!!!!). I dunno if they were particularly expensive, but holy heck....
