@OpenComputeDesign@linuxrocks.online @rl_dane@polymaths.social USB-C can be wonderful when it works. I have been using that cable every day for years to plug my laptop. With one cable I have power, network, 2 external displays, mouse and keyboard.
The problem is you never know if a specific cable will work until you plug it 😅

@doragasu@mastodon.sdf.org @OpenComputeDesign@linuxrocks.online USB-C is one of those things that is so wonderful and useful 90% of the time, bit the other 10% of the time is so randomly and bizarrely broken that you start questioning the other 90% 😅 ...like why my laptop can be (slowly) charged from my phone charger, but my relatively beefy power bank refuses to even trickle-charge my laptop.
