@cassey@carhenge.club omg this is why I go eh about "affirming" spaces that require you list your pronouns from the start. 1) it assumes trust I haven't built with the space yet but even if I did 2) it forces us to stop being nebulous and liminal even if that's how we prefer to be. I feel the same away about naming my pronouns that I do when my partner wants to peek at bread dough that's proofing. "Leave it alone and let it do its thing". Maybe I'll start typing a cat emoji for schrodinger's gender.
