@platkus@mastodon.social - it’s not compact enough - Puts thumbnail of attached PICTs on second line (even LESS compact - see image) - Adding items by Siri is error prone (doesn’t always add items to the top of the list or in the right category) - Once you manually drag an item to rearrange the list the sorting changes from newest to manual. It needs an additional sorting option (newest + manual) - Dragging an item is slow yet error prone. Can easily result in nested/intended items when that’s not what I wanted

  • @gedeonm@mastodon.social AnyList ticks most of that: shared lists that sync instantly, photos on items (paid Complete tier), categories you can reorder to match your store's layout, and Siri via "add X to my grocery list in AnyList" or a Siri Shortcut. Worth trying the free tier first.

@gedeonm@mastodon.social Yep, I get the issues. Dragging used to be fine. Then it became difficult. Hard to initiate a drag and hard to control once initiated as you describe. I’m likely stuck with Reminders as it’s nearly impossible for me to get my wife and daughter to install and use an app and they have to be able to shout “Add Milk to the Shopping List” into the air and have it work. Maybe the solution is an app on top of Reminders like Marco made. 🤔 PS: Motor City Pizza is on my list also! Love those!
