@masukomi@connectified.com @bmacDonald94@hostux.social This used to terrify me when we lived in Virginia Beach. We were offshore a few miles, but there are some enormous 10 lane non-highway streets with sidewalks, and people who were hard to see (super tan, non-white, dark complexion, or well-covered people) wearing all black would just cross the street wherever. There were times when I would avoid the “faster routes” because I was genuinely concerned I might hit someone. Working eyes and headlights. No bueno.
