I do appreciate Onyx Path quietly maintaining the older stuff in the background. But a corporation trying to chase those ~~Twilight~~ Vampire dollars is never going to have that creative spark that the original 90s games had. 3/3

@deinol@dice.camp My favorite editions are definitely the older ones. Masquerade 2e and Requiem 1e. I'm glad that people are having fun with newer material, and I would absolutely leap at the chance to play Revised or V20, but I find myself generally preferring older versions of the games I play.

@deinol@dice.camp On the Hero Games forum at the moment there are people discussing a seventh edition, as if it would have any effect on the game’s popularity with younger gamers.

@deinol@dice.camp I appreciate Onyx Path for the same reasons. And I agree with you about the IP being mishandled by its corporate overlords. While I do think V5 does some interesting stuff mechanically, the lore changes just didn't feel right to me. I didn't even bother looking at Werewolf 5E and I am not sure I will check the 6th edition of Vampire. Thankfully I do have V20 of all of them if I ever get a group and we decide to play them.
