Still working on getting everything that's currently in the Wildfire Smoke Resources doc onto the website, but I'm almost finished! Everything I have for #Canada has already been added. https://wildfiresmokeresources.neocities.org/ If you have information or resources you would like to share--anything like info about a local mask bloc in North America, a clean air program your city government runs, a safe location with a good HVAC system where people can get out of smoky air, or even things like tree-planting programs and more long-term ways to locally combat climate change and improve air quality, please feel free to share it with me either here on Mastodon or via this Cryptpad form: https://cryptpad.fr/form/#/3/form/view/03ab8efd32850a3d5d5c376d39ed0284/ I'll add the information to both the doc and the site as soon as I can. #Wildfire #WildfireSeason #CanadianWildfires #PNWWildfires #PNW #UnitedStates #MaskBloc #MaskUp #YallMasking #StillMasking #ClimateChange #Solarpunk #MutualAid #SmokyAir #CleanAir ##TurtleIsland #NorthAmerica #NaturalDisaster

Basement is now over 15 ug/m^3 for PM2.5. Maybe I should get my Corsi-Rosenthal box running again. I do have a commercial air purifier running down there but it doesn’t seem to be effective enough. #IndoorAirQuality #WildfireSeason #ClimateChange

Since those days, and the present ability to obtain #allergy-safe (for me) #silicone #ElastomericRespirators, the tool has sat unused among many items from those early desperate days. As locals will recall, 2020 was when #Edmonton experienced the beginning of the #pandemic. 2021 was our first-ever #HeatDome. 2022 and thereafter to the present has seen long stretches of #ExtremeHeat and the switch from #SummerSeason to #WildfireSeason, adding frequently horrendous #AirQuality to the sustained heat. #yeg #ClimateChange #wildfires 4/x
