Got Brick in to the vet today, it was his turn to get neutered. Now all three of the kittens are in good shape. Went smoothly, no issues, he's still sleeping off the anesthesia. I also included a couple bonus shots to demonstrate why we called him Brick: He loves him some bricks. #CatsOfMastondon #Cats #Feral #TNR #Kittens

Rupert was such a special cat and our first Cornish Rex. 2002-2019 We still miss him. He was the cat we didn't want! We specially wanted a female, solid colour (brown or black or grey). But the minute we saw this tiny squirming red tiger-marked tabby male kitten, we knew he was ours! He was not only a wonderful friend and companion, full of character, but when we took him to his only cat show at 8 months old, he won his championship and every other prize going and the hearts of the judges and all who saw him! He then quit competing so as not to demoralize the other cats. He was kind in that way, too. Here he was getting his championship https://zeroes.ca/@elliek/116268192742976754 For #TongueOutTuesday #EllieKPosts #CaturdayEveryDay #CatsOfMastondon #CornishRex #cats

This is my little daughter, Kinda. She has already lost two years of education because of the war and displacement. Every day she asks me when she will finally return to a real school. I now have a chance to enroll her, but I need €150 for her school fees. As a mother, it breaks my heart that such a small amount stands between my daughter and her future. #catsofmastondon Education is the only thing no one can take away from her. Please help me give Kinda the chance to learn, dream,

melo and haru love the vet sooooo much… #CatsOfMastondon

Almost 8 weeks old! And they’ll be going to the cat cafe back in my old town this weekend. 😭 We’ve already got an adoption lined up for Doyle and Wilde (the two blue-gray ones), hopefully the others will follow soon. I know they’re going to have a lot of fun meeting new people and I’ve got kitten poop to scrape off the walls but I’m going to miss them. Mary will be spayed soon and then available for adoption, but I need to get a better feel for her temperament outside of the context of a safe room with a single person who helped her when she needed it before I decide if she’ll also be going to the cat cafe. I’m sure she’ll like a little break from babies first. #CatsOfMastondon #FosterKittens

It has been a tough week. I don’t think I’ll see it out, too tired, must sleep, crash. #FaceplantFriday #CatsOfMastondon #FediCats #Caturday #caturdayeveryday

I know it’s late and a lot of people might not see this in time since it ends at midnight Eastern US time tonight, but the rescue I foster for is taking part in a big local fundraising program today and could use some help meeting some of the challenge goals! Even if we can’t hit the goals, every dollar goes toward food and care and vet bills for the cats in our care. https://www.givelocalpiedmont.org/organization/ForgottenFelinesCulpeper #CatsOfMastondon #FosterKittens #MutualAidRequest

Sorry I’m not posting the kittens as often but they don’t sit still much anymore. 😅 #CatsOfMastondon #FosterKittens
