Don’t buy this shit. Flipper Zero/One were developed by ruzzians, and by buying their products, you help ruzzia's economy through the taxes paid from the developers salaries. Don’t help ruzzians commit genocide against the Ukrainian people.

@JustinDerrick@infosec.exchange It’s a typical ruzzian strategy to reregister companies in another country while, in reality, the same people are working on the project in the same places. Not so long ago, they hosted their firmware update servers in ruzzia, but now they hide them behind Cloudflare. They are still selling Flipper Zero in ruzzia in violation of sanctions. PayPal once blocked $1.3M from Flipper Zero’s account, and from that moment they have been relying on resellers instead. You can try to trace the team members locations from the Kickstarter page and find out that they have been removed from Twitter. That is not how relocated workers usually behave. Meanwhile, the CEO (Pavel Zhovner) is still active on ruzzian tech sites (like this one), asking for help and promoting the project. It's a typical "You can leave ruzzia, but ruzzia never leaves you" situation. cc @anthropy@mastodon.derg.nz@collabora@floss.social

@prosodyim that is a nice feature, but it would be good if it also suggested disabling community modules that were merged into the main codebase. For example, I got unexpected duplicate options in the room's settings because muc_restrict_pm was enabled after updating to Prosody 13.0.0.

@Kovach є лише один спосіб дізнатись - подивитись відео 😉

@MSugarhill@chaos.social The main developer and company CEO, Pavel Zhovner, is now living in the UK. Before that, he lived in moscow, where Flipper Zero was originally created. He is a ruzzian citizen since 2012 and still active on ruzzian tech sites. You can check links in this comment, as well as this translated article from our Ukrainian software developer community. But as you may guess, the US company was created to avoid sanctions and to obscure the ruzzian origin of the product.
