This photo I don't have an FP4 pair for. Crown Graphic 4x5. HP5 at box. HC-110e for 8 min at 20c.
Let's talk grain. Preferences for grain are highly personal. I happen to love the grain in this photo, made on Tri-X at box with my Retina IIc. I used my 18% microfiber cloth to take exposure readings. By the looks of the negative, my exposure was good. HC-110e for 9 min at 20C. #BelieveInFilm
Loaded up the classic with some Foma 200, one of my favorite emulsions in 135.
My latest large format work in the Big Woods. I'm happy with how these turned out. I made the same photo on HP5 and FP4. I'll let you figure out which is which. I will include that info in the Alt Text though. Shot at box. Incident metered. Crown Graphic 4 x 5. HC-110e for HP5 and FX39II for FP4.
I continue to check up on the progress in converting the abandoned Fruen mill in Minneapolis into a hotel. Fuji XT2 w/16-80mm f/4 XF WR.
I’m making the new member photos tonight at our church. I could just use on camera flash, but I never care for how those photos turn out.
A couple more large format pairs from the Big Woods. Crown Graphic 4x5.
One last photo from the Fruen Mill in Minneapolis. Fuji XT2 w/16-80mm f/4 XF WR.
I have noticed an off flavor from coffee ground in the Capresso burr grinder we got from my parents. We decided to give it a thorough cleaning, including using coffee grinder crystals. After brewing a pot I am a complete believer. These crystals work! That off flavor is completely gone.
Another photo from the Fruen mill. Fuji XT2 w/16-80mm f/4 XF WR.
