Phase 1: force AI adoption by removing other options to not use it
Phase 2: make computing unaffordable for the masses by buying up all stock of components, driving up demand while building datacenters.
Phase 3: further increase demand for and adoption of your cloud computing/AI datacenter by making people reliant on crappy cloud PCs/PCaaS devices with little horsepower to do much else
Phase 4: use telemetry/spyware in said datacenters to surveil/harvest data from every user of said cloud PCs and use it to serve hyper-targeted ads (everyone knows people love hyper-targeted ads) and send drone fleets to respond to/harass dissenters domestic terrorists
Phase 5: profit

“A child with access to an app store...can potentially download any number of software applications, potentially agreeing to invasions of the child’s privacy and sale of the child’s data and be exposed to any conceivable content without parental consent or even parental knowledge”
So fucking legislate protection of people's privacy then, it's that simple!
Not a single user likes being bombarded with ads, the single justification given for the panopticon we inhabit. And the invasion of privacy for the pleasure of hyper-targeted ads is an assault that no one asked for. "Here, we spied on you to give you this thing you don't want."
I don't give a 💩 if your ad company loses money, in fact I hope it burns down and sinks into the swamp. 🖕

While trying to figure out what was capping FPS, I reintroduced ENB to see if enblocal.ini might be the culprit, and everything just...worked. FPS are still capped at 60, but now with ENB working, I don't need to configure community shaders and completely redo lighting.
CS does look great though, and will for sure be a part of my next build after this one.

What's your take on #meshcore vs. #meshtastic ? From what I've seen, all the (at least #android ) clients are closed source.

Not sure if this is at all helpful, but there are a few places that help with finding jobs in Japan, and some will even handle visas. Not my business what your status is, I just know you were in Florida.

Drivers switch went about as well as I could have expected: failed to boot to GUI, then I banged my head against the wall for a while before finding a lingering xorg.conf I swore I'd deleted, then everything just worked!
Trying to get #QEMU #KVM VM working today with #SingleGPUPassthrough . The VM itself is already set up, I just need to configure passing the GPU to the guest and installing drivers
