@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org I eat it with bread (homemade: pita or something crusty), with carrots and celery, or as a condiment on sandwiches. It’s delicious stuff.
Other favorite ways to prepare https://thewoksoflife.com/chinese-eggplant-garlic-sauce/
Or bread and bake slices then freeze. Thaw & reheat to use in sandwiches or put directly from freezer into a baking dish add sauce & cheese then bake. (Kind of an eggplant Parmesan type dish.)

@HG Things I found helpful for older relatives and their friends.
1) set the screen/display to lower resolution and/or increase font size (sometimes in conjunction with high contrast always sans serif)
2) take a picture and zoom (e.g. for labels)
For the hard of hearing: turn on voice to text on their phone. (Ensure the font is large enough for them to read.) Put the phone between you during the conversation. This often helps even when their hearing aids may not.

I love that this program is still growing 31 years later. Children ages 0-5 in communities throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and Republic of Ireland are eligible to receive one free book a month through the Imagination Library. All 36 counties in #Oregon participate.

@antonio106 I’m not in your area, but I’m envious of your native seed library. They might be a place to start. https://wildflowerseedlibrary.ca/

@MaryAustinBooks@mstdn.social The stickers are fine, but her soaps are divine. She’s one of my favorite local soap makers.
