@streetartutopia@mastodon.online @ErikJonker@mastodon.social this is more than probably a fake picture, I’m afraid.

Not implying the destruction isn’t real just that this picture probably isn’t real.
Replying to
@stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social @siracusa@mastodon.social that’s painful, but it doesn’t really matter. If Apple or anyone uses LLMs to answer knowledge queries directly. We all lose.
Fingers crossed they use LLMs to parse the question and formulate the answer based on information that was retrieved from a knowledge database, then we’re talking.

I feel this, and it sucks, for all of us, in this profession.

@viticci if this is any indication, it’s not all that great, and not all natively coded swift. https://mastodon.social/@ccgus/116410242771350931

@lensco@mastodon.world I’m no expert in human vision, but as a person that uses their vision all day long, HDR in these pictures do not capture reality. If I look at these scene in the real world, my eyes will adjust when looking at the bright spots, making them less bright than they appear in these pictures. Plus, the pictures with the sun, or the moon just plain hurt my eyes.
Do not like. 👎

@markgrambau@techhub.social @siracusa@mastodon.social if I move my head left and right, the left edge of the Mac Pro on the right of Ternus goes from red to normal to blue.

@matdevdug@c.im the price really turns me off though. You have to take walking/hiking very seriously for it to make any sense.

@marcoarment@mastodon.social You don’t have to brew update, it’s automatic. It makes sure brew itself is up to date and downloads the latest formulae. Auto-update is on by default and will run once every 24h before commands: install, upgrade and tap.
Brew upgrade bumps all packages to their latest working versions given the dependencies between them.

@lensco@mastodon.world I turn off HDR every where I can, except my gaming PC. I just don’t like it. Like high framerates in movies it takes away more than it adds, IMO.

@lensco@mastodon.world To me, they all feel fake. These pictures still look amazing when viewed without HDR.

@markgrambau@techhub.social @siracusa@mastodon.social I see it too, it’s very subtle, are you wearing glasses?
