I should’ve posted about it here earlier, but, uh, we won.

Up for (another) Eisner Award!
Yesterday I learned that the deluxe edition of Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen was niminated for the Eisner fo Best Graphic Album- Reprint.
We're all so proud of this book. And if you haven't read it, my studio's etsy shop has several signed and sketched copies available. Free USA shipping. Expensive international shipping. (sorry) https://helioscopepdx.etsy.com/listing/4311530238
My studiomate Mark Molchan is working on a pencil prelim for an Elric illustration and omg.
When I talk to comic book artists I always emphasize the importance of clearly separating their planes of depth. This rule is only for comics and does not apply to Turkish photographer Sami Uçan.
Please work please work please work please work oh god please work and don’t be vaporware

Has any org ever gotten more bang for their buck than The Onion did when they bought the rights for those 6 photos they use in their "American Voices" gags?

Want to read that Jimmy Olsen book? It’s won just about every award it was up for, and it’s still one of the best comics I ever worked on. The new printing is available through any comic shop or book store. Or you can get a signed and sketched copy direct from the artist, here: https://helioscopepdx.etsy.com/listing/4311530238

There were a bunch of requests, so I've done some touch-ups and made this one available as a print! https://helioscopepdx.etsy.com/listing/4499344076/angine-de-poitrine-little-dot-mashup
The hardcover collection of Benjamin Dewey’s The Tragedy Series came out nine years ago today. I can’t believe a book this good is out of print! Here’s hoping some smart publisher will reach out to him and make it available again.
