A large "Yoga Narasimha" installation at Widyaa-Waarinidhi Theertha Guest House, Udupi #India. It seems this #sculpture has been at this spot forever, but I noticed it only last night. (The wavy light strips behind create a moving effect.) 🧘‍♂️

The sculpture is modeled after the main deity of Kaniyooru Matha (which owns the guest house). 👇

PS: I don't know in which order your client shows the sculpture and the quoted post, but to clarify: The large bronze sculpture under lights is the object of this post (and I took that picture last night). The picture of a similar but much smaller sculpture with red flowers around belongs to the quoted post (which I posted 3 months ago).

Super #niche: I received this book last year and finally started reading (muddling through) it now. It's a 700-page #Kannada commentary on a 350+ years old #Sanskrit scholarly work about events in the life of Krishna.🪈

The original "shree-krishna-chaarithrya-manjaree" is by Mantralaya Sri Raghavendra Swami and is only 28 verses (112 lines).📜

Yesterday (Thursday) was "Narasimha Jayanthi", the birthday of Narasimha. The occasion is observed with pomp in Waisnavite locations across #India.

I of course attended the Narasimha Jayanthi festivities in #Udupi. Of the many people I encountered, two were rather rude and directed some anger at me, which I thought I didn't deserve. Still, I handled one of them right, which is by ignoring them; but I think I responded a wee bit in kind to the second. 😳

Needless to say, those two interactions left a bitter taste in me, but I later consoled myself that maybe it was just that Narasimha cast his shadow on some people that day, what with him having just been born. 😀

1. What's the benefit to having a separate NOAI.MD as opposed to saying "No AI" in README.MD? I suppose a separate MD file is easier to spot and it helps if one wants to describe terms of "No AI", but what would/could the terms be other than saying "No AI?"

2. If we only mean to say "No AI", I suppose NOAI.MD could be just a marker file, with no need for any actual content.

3. If NOAI.MD describes anything more than just "No AI" (say, "AI Use" in general), it seems like it could be human-readable version of something like TDMRep.json.
