Happy 13th birthday, Miez!
Remote
Proud owner of Miez (born 2013)

and previous owner of Koda and Lilly (2013&2021)

M&K ended up fighting all the time. I then took in L as a new playmate for Koda. Luckily K&L found a new home with friends

Miez only gets to go outside every third night following her latest health problems (from eating too much grass). She gets to occupy my lazy boy in return.
German: Nach ihren Gesundheitsproblem neulich (durch zu viel Gras fressen) darf Miez nun nur noch jeden dritten Abend raus. Im Gegenzug darf sie meinen Sessel für sich beanspruchen.

I'm currently building a shed. Miez has found a comfy shelter where she can watch me work
German: Ich bau mir gerade einen Geräteschuppen. Miez hat sich 'n bequemes Plätzchen rausgesucht von dem aus sie mir zuschauen kann.

Done. That's the best way to get her attention. Now she's in cuddle mode even though it is pretty warm today

Instead it seems like a lot of companies are just looking for new magic numbers to chase in order to justify their predetermined conclusions.
That describes politics everywhere. Just people trying to find numbers that they can point to that "show" they are doing a good job, with tons of confirmation bias.

The fuck is that headline? The CEO is stepping down as CEO? Like, is it really important to let people know what CEO means?

This part is directly translated: Gesundheitsproblem = health problem. I was referring to my previous post about Miez feeling pretty bad about getting some grass stuck in her throat as well as her ongoing bad digestion caused by the sheer amount of grass she is eating, which has way improved following my restrictions on her outside time.
TBH I’m pretty sick of her flatulances and diarrhea all because she won’t stop eating grass. And I don’t mean just a bit here and there. She just eats a whole bunch wherever she is. I tried training her to only feed on the soft stuff, but to no avail.

Fully agreed. Would she catch birds, I would have serious issues with that. But her being an inside cat for most of her life plus a lamp on her collar, this thankfully ain’t an issue at all. I track her all the time she’s outside, so I know exactly at which neighbour’s garden she is at and can summon her at will (which she knows is a call for treats so she listens to it closely).
