I live in Seattle and am mostly interested in local stuff. I take lots of photos of nature and like to ride bicycles, motorbikes, dirtbikes, anything with wheels and balance. I also really like insects and moss so expect plenty of photos of that too.
this lens is so picky but I finally made it shine today. I am calling this bird a tern of some variety. Anyone care to help me out with an identification? Take in Seattle, Washington near Elliott Bay
dorsal and ventral view, same specimen. Happy Spooktober!

shooting video like this hand held is tough! But my spider friend is eating well
*Araneus diadematus*
I take so many photos of these /Araneus diadematus/ but I just love them so much. This one is sharing my kitchen space with me and I've been feeding her the gnats that live in my over-watered plants.
tried carrying the tripod on my dirt jumper. Not very easy combination but worth the effort if only I could figure out how to use my autofocus

Finally an excuse to use the monochrome filters!
I've been seeing a lot more people on skates around town this summer so I decided to freshen up my in-lines with new bearings and wheels.
@c0debabe@masto.hackers.town when it took you exactly six time longer than it should have to do something
how did these two become such good friends?
