@Maker_of_Things I run LineageOS without google services on my Fairphone. I mostly use foss apps from f-droid, but also a few closed source ones from APKPure. Some apps depend on google services and wont work, but nothing that ever minded not having. (I might be unusual in not using many apps). I can show next time we meet.

@Maker_of_Things What'sApp and Signal are fine. I have not tried my main bank's app, but did have Monzo working when I last used that.

@kdenlive We used Kdenlive for the #rsecon25 videos https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL27mQJy8eDHnot5jhJkFgBaIjqgE5zTn7 Being able to embed a timeline in another timeline was a really useful feature. Would like a way to make templates of layouts for doing video and slides side by side. I had to do some scripting work with the project files get layouts set up for each talk.
