I made a blog post about learning Welsh so that it is possibly easier for others to learn Welsh as I put quite a bit of effort into finding and making a bunch of useful resources.

I'm here to keep in touch with people I know :) (if I don't know you, I probably wont accept a follow request). I post about my art, food (if I am particularly proud of it) and general life/activities.

I made another post on my blog "Portal Proofing Your Life." It is adapted from the talk I gave with my mum at #Autscape in 2023. It is a guide for coping with executive dysfunction when it comes to managing ones space and keeping track of things.

I wish more people agreed/understood that it's better to have a small event that really sticks to its purpose rather than a large event that is just the same party as you get for any other event in the year with a different colour scheme. I'm always disappointed to see pride events hauling rainbow plastic at us.
In Manchester there's quite a lot of genuine queer events that I like such as the Queer Art Market where its full of stalls and performances by independent queer people, if there are any larger orgs they have to be proper queer orgs like the LGBT foundation that, as I understand it, is the main/sole reason that many/most Manchester GPs will offer bridging prescriptions of hormones. Plus they produce lots of leaflets and booklets giving information oriented to queer people (like navigating safe sex and STI risks as a trans person) and they give out free STI test kits. That is the level of queer support I want to see from any big name at a queer event. Nothing less.

Yes! I have been saying this! Feel less insane indeed! I particularly like how you put it when you said "cis allies don't perform don't perform at trans events. Allies don't take space from marginalised people. Allies stand in the audience and cheer those people on" I think that sums up the sentiment really well.
I didn't like you saying "if I were her I would kill myself" that feels too close to suicide baiting and beyond what is necessary to make the point.
