Worked on this Bowser mask for almost a week, since my kids are going through a Mario fever at the moment… no one is as excited as I am.

I completely missed this milestone, but Hand Mirror has crossed 1 Million downloads earlier in the year 🤯

I was born too late and never got to design a physical box for my software, so I did a fake one for the “What's new" window in Hand Mirror.
This update is almost ready, if you like to make videos or write about this stuff get in touch!
Hand Mirror 4 is out now, you can take a Snap, draw on it, and save it to your Photo Library 📸
Here's some of my favorite UI details in a thread

It was truly a privilege to have the chance to work with the man, the legend himself 😍
We’re building something fun ❤️
We're testing this new intro to play when you first launch Retro ✨
The idea is to "set the mood", communicate what Retro is about, and slow you down:
• Plays haptics on every photo beat, decreasing in intensity and sharpness, so you "feel" it calm down.
• The script is dynamic, it adapts to the apps that you have installed on your device.
• The soundtrack starts with noise that we turn down to focus on what matters.
• We're gonna ask for some iOS permissions, hopefully this creates some trust
I still think about when @panic@social.panic.com launched the iOS version of Coda, and called it “Diet Coda”.
Retro is numero uno in Spain today 😍
Hey, there's some of my friends 😍

We started working on this release long before WWDC, but rumors of a redesigned macOS were strong and we were ready for it — here’s some of the ways that we embraced and also pushed Apple’s new design language for @Sketch@mastodon.design Copenhagen
The F1 integration in Apple Maps is better than I expected, it even includes all the numbered turns.

And having your car key on your phone’s wallet is a very underrated feature — this is incredible!
No WWDC golden ticket for me this year 🥲

It's 1 Infinite Loop, where it looks like they ignore my explanation and write back the exact same request.

Now I'm getting rejected for using an entitlement that I am actually not using, and I don't know how else I can explain this to them.

It has been now a full week of me trying to ship a critical bug fix to my users, and my app keep getting rejected for completely unrelated and unjustified reasons.
I’ve filled an appeal (no answer), I’ve made changes to address their problems, nothing. I’m stuck.

@marioguzman@mastodon.social it was your pictures that sent me down a dangerous Ebay road 😂

@sdw@mastodon.social what a great read, I’m allowing myself to be more and more excited for this summer. Us designers will have a blast!

@Hrellir@mastodon.online I’m loving it so far, the interior design is perfect. It does on the driver’s display, but I suspect not as responsive or good as Tesla’s (from my limited experience with one).

@kp@mastodon.design that would be an amazing easter egg 😅 (I don't think he is a fine driver)

@_Davidsmith@mastodon.social yes! I don’t carry the key anymore with me, and the fact that you can share your digital key with people is :chef’s kiss:
