Boring postcards? Maybe… but also strangely fascinating! 😄
We’re looking at Martin Parr’s Boring Postcards USA on the blog, a book full of highways, hotel rooms, parking lots and other wonderfully mundane postcard scenes. Would you send one?

Look at this! Christa (aka dolldalera) recently visited the Naminara Republic (a micronation on Nami island, in South Korea 🇰🇷) and found the sweetest little postal setup: a cosy writing corner, a cheerful mascot, and a bright red “Naminara Post” box waiting for postcards. 😍 #PostboxSaturday #postcrossing

Aaron recently visited Malaysia and came back with a whole collection of postbox sightings for #PostboxSaturday, from classic red Pos Malaysia boxes to a lineup with a surprise yellow one in the middle! 😍 Naturally, they all had to be fed some postcards!
Look what arrived in our mailbox! 😍
A small local magazine from Germany featuring an interview with postcrossers Christian, Katrin, Lisa and Moritz. And yes, they showed up like super stars in matching Postcrossing t-shirts… iconic!
Does your town or neighborhood have a small publication like this too? They’re a great way to spread the word locally and invite new people to join the fun!
And here we are, 86 million postcards! 🥳 Well done, everyone!
The lucky one was ES-888468, a postcard that traveled from Spain to the USA in 22 days!
