I once worked somewhere that managed to turn a fairly small dataset into 44TB. They took daily snapshots for three years, of the whole database. So instead of just the delta each daily snapshot had two decades of data...
Bit of a faff to clean up.

I think it was the battery we got with our solar that realised the biggest cash saving. As a combination of accessing better value tariffs and shifting time-of-use.

@Drahngis@social.vivaldi.net it's a line from the "three billy goats gruff" children's story. My point - stop being a troll.
Two digit years are confusing and it's best not to use them.
Anyhoo, enjoy your day 😃

To keep maintenance low you could use one of the fedora atomic variants, but it depends what software you want to install because they need to be available as a flatpak.

@gwmngilfen@fosstodon.org and I have been talking a lot about this recently. We're not sure what shape it might take. But a shape it will!

Not sure where you're based, but if it's the UK @likeaword@data-folks.masto.host does a weekly roundup of jobs: https://buttondown.com/likeaword/archive/

That would still have a four digit year 😉
