Flock cameras are riddled with security vulnerabilities and hard-coded credentials

This morning, DDoSecrets published an exciting new dataset: Filesystem images of the partitions from an in-use Flock ALPR camera. 404 Media and Wired published a joint investigation into it. I downloaded the dataset and am now thoroughly nerd-sniped. Hackers from a collective called stegan0gram collected the data. “Why

The Server Called Paranoia: Defend Autistici/Inventati

For twenty-five years, an Italian hacker collective has built communications infrastructure designed to survive censorship, surveillance and police raids. On August 26, the United States designated it a terrorist organization. On September 25, the wind-down period ends.

Cyd for Bluesky is here! I’ve been working on this for months, and also using it on my own account for months. Here are my settings:

- Delete posts older than 30 days unless they have at least 20 likes or 20 reposts
- Delete reposts older than 30 days
- Delete likes older than 30 days
- Delete chat messages older than 21 days

At some point I want to add Mastodon support too, but it’s slow going

Infosec Exchange

Cyd (@cyd@infosec.exchange)

We're happy to announce today the release of Cyd for Mobile! 📲🐦️ If you have an account on Bluesky, you can use Cyd's new mobile app to easily and automatically clean up your data. The app backs up and deletes your old posts, likes, and other data, while leaving what you actually want people to see when they look up your account. Why should everything you post on social media stay online forever? It's your data, it should be your choice! More on Cyd for Mobile here: https://lockdown.systems/c
