RE: https://pix.lgbt/p/lily/1010236749351688823 And yes... This is indeed coming from someone who had a very no good awful bad day and made the front page of hacker news for accidentally nuking multiple decently sized instances from the fediverse.... the difference is I owned and learned from my mistakes. Something this person has never done.

Well... didn't take long at all before being utterly disappointed with a certain someone from Pixelfed again. 😑 This violates our core beliefs here at pix.lgbt and is only furthering our concerns with the direction and future of Pixelfed. The fediverse deserves better. Thank you to @antimundo@mastodon.gamedev.place@pix.lgbt for bringing this to everyone's attention. Given this news, we are shutting down signups on pix.lgbt indefinitely to give use time to figure out how we proceed. No matter what, we love you and we won't be disappearing unexpectly. 💜🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

My father-in-law is a distributor for these solar roofing panels and gifted us some of them for Christmas and we're finally getting the ball rolling on getting them installed. Our roof is in major need of repair so two birds one stone... And we SHOULD be able to produce a surplus due to our South facing roof in the Colorado sun and we're going to put in some backup batteries. I'm so excited to see how this all turns out! https://www.apluspvt.com/ #solarpunk #homesteading

@alice I like to imagine that someone saw this and it was the last little nudge they needed and they were like "You know what you're right! Okay fine I will." and then they live happily ever after

@boxy@wetdry.world I am doing the same with Lutris. It lets you use your local Proton versions rather than Wine and I got tired of filling my Steam library with things that weren’t games.

@koolfy@social.bim.land I understand your frustation however feel it's a bit misdirected. This work is from a fellow admin who happens to also be an unpaid volunteer just trying to make things better. Next time you're frustrated maybe consider doing the same rather than taking it out on a woman on the internet. Hope that helps.
