Folks, we are now at a French Toast Alert, Level 3. If there are any eggs, bread, milk, and toilet paper left in your favorite grocery store, you should acquire three of each of the above items. . This ensures you will have plenty of supplies for breakfast.

The Waffle House Index is GREEN. No restaurants have been closed due to weather issues. 🤣

In all seriousness, this storm is going to be a large challenge. Fuel your vehicles. Charge your phones and radios. Starting at midnight on 1/25/26 (Sunday) no commercial vehicles should be operating, at least on Pennsylvania interstates. Check 511pa.com for more road information.

Starting the morning with one of those days..... . Left my badge in the car and had to do the walk of shame back to the car to get it. Went to my first meeting on the day and forgot I hadn't put the keys back in my jacket. And it looks like we might get snow on Wednesday night....

Trying to get my stuff together this week and get things organized. Two #AmateurRadio meetings this week. Hopefully another #AREDN RF node going up on Saturday; have to prep all fo the equipment for installation.

A great big shoutout to Ben @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org for all that he does here on Mastodon and elsewhere (I didn't want to mention the "W" word).

Folks, let's make this a great day. Be safe, and let's be careful out there.

Semper Gumby!

@cordelya@toots.cordelya.net In my case, the server room is the warmest one in the apartment. However, I have started reducing the number of servers running, both to conserve energy and to reduce the load on the UPS for mission-critical servers.
