Official Statement
I am sharing this message to address a recent personal situation and to be transparent about what I have been going through. Many people know me through online communities such as Discord and matrix.org, where I typically present myself as positive and composed. However, what is visible online does not always reflect my real emotional state. In reality, I have been experiencing significant stress and emotional difficulty behind the scenes.
Recently, an incident occurred within my family that escalated from a minor, unintentional mistake. I left the washroom without realizing my leg was still wet, which resulted in water being left on the floor. At the time, I was preoccupied with fixing something important to me and preparing to pray. As a Muslim, prayer is a meaningful and private part of my life. I do not support forcing religious beliefs on others, and I believe faith should be practiced with respect and personal choice. Unfortunately, public portrayals of Islam on platforms such as YouTube do not always reflect this perspective.
When my mother noticed the water on the floor, she responded by restricting my phone access for one week. This was difficult for me, as my phone is one of my primary ways of maintaining contact with friends and support networks. During this situation, my sister was also provoking me, and the combination of stress and frustration caused me to lose my composure. In that moment, I reacted impulsively and accidentally lashed out at my mother.
I deeply regret this action. It was never my intention to harm or disrespect her, and I take full responsibility for my behavior. As a consequence, I am now grounded for an additional week. The incident has created tension at home and has left me feeling remorseful, disappointed in myself, and emotionally overwhelmed.
I am not sharing this to seek sympathy or to create conflict. Rather, I want to acknowledge what happened, express accountability for my actions, and be honest about the challenges I am currently facing. I am taking this time to reflect, to work on managing my emotions more constructively, and to repair the trust that was affected.
