Contemporary AI encourages harmful behaviours, nobody who have used AI denies its usefullness but it is unethical. Look at the layoffs, datacenter caused environment destruction, AI psychosis etc. Unfortunately, we humans have destructive tendencies and AI just accelerates that. What we need is to slow down or ban AI outright, then fix our issues like world hunger, climate crisis, housing crisis etc. first
